Mike Evans scored a first-half touchdown to lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 10-0 lead over the Chicago Bears in the NFL this evening.
Josh McCown, who spent last season with the Bears, tried to get the visitors into a strong field position, but the quarterback's pass was intercepted.
Jay Cutler also had problems early on for the Bears, as a heavy sack forced the ball loose, and Gerald McCoy was on hand to recover it for the Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay capitalised on the turnover, with McCown completing a deep pass to rookie wide receiver Evans to open the scoring.
Robbie Gould could have reduced the deficit for the Bears, but the kicker sliced the ball to the right, and it bounced back off the upright.
Vincent Jackson moved the visitors back down the field late on, allowing Patrick Murray to add a further three points with a field goal.
