The Chicago Bears have signed former Northern Illinois star Jordan Lynch as part of their undrafted free agent class and have listed him as a running back.
Having been told that he could play as a quarterback in the NFL, Lynch participated in running back drills at the scouting combine in order to show off his best asset.
Lynch was a Heisman Trophy finalist after running for 1,920 yards and 23 touchdowns last season and will now try to make a successful step up into the league.
The Bears will also be taking a closer look at a number of other prospects that were not drafted over the next few months.
