Jay Cutler has revealed that the Chicago Bears are still learning their new offensive system.
The NFC North side replaced their coaching staff during the off-season after finishing third in the division in 2012, missing out on the playoffs for a second year in a row.
The quarterback told the team's official website: "I'm as comfortable as I could be up to this point. We're still learning things and still getting better each and every day.
"I don't think we'll be where we want to be for this game, but eventually we'll get there each and every week. We've just got to be good enough to beat the Bengals this week and hopefully we are.
"I think [new head coach Marc Trestman] does a good job of putting ownership on everybody on the offense and making sure that everyone's accountable. I'm just kind of a piece of the puzzle. It takes those 10 other guys to do their jobs for me to do mine."
The Bears face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
