Chicago Bears quarterback Josh McCown has stated that the team are united following rumours of locker room unrest.
In recent weeks, the Bears offense have been performing well, but have been let down by a usually reliable defensive unit.
McCown, however, insists that there are no problems or issues within the camp, and that the side pull together as a group.
He told the club's official site: "There is no tension between us at all. We're a team, man. When one side doesn't play as well as they'd like to, it's not the mark of a great team to be critical. We all pull together.
"Over the years, the defense has made their fair share of big plays - even this year. What know what we need to do on both sides of the football and everybody is aware of their jobs in this team."
The Bears are currently in second spot in the NFC North with a 6-5 record.
