The Chicago Bears have reportedly agreed to send wide receiver Brandon Marshall to the New York Jets.
It has been speculated that the 30-year-old would leave the franchise after tension grew between the two parties during last season.
Both new head coach John Fox and general manager Ryan Pace wanted to assess their options before making any moves, but it appears as though Marshall will depart Chicago.
Should the trade go ahead, it cannot become official until the free agency market opens next Tuesday evening.
It is also reported that Marshall will need to pass a physical examination before the Jets complete the deal.
