The Cincinnati Bengals have taken a seven-point advantage into the halfway stage of their NFL match against the Buffalo Bills, leading 17-10 at the break.
The Bengals came away with points on their very first drive but were forced to settle for a field goal as Mike Nugent knocked his kick over from 46 yards.
The Bills hit back immediately, however, with stand-in quarterback Thaddeus Lewis leading his side on a quick drive before burrowing over from three yards for a touchdown.
Cincinnati regained the lead shortly afterwards, with Andy Dalton finding AJ Green in the end zone with an 18-yard pass that the wide receiver did well to hold on to.
They then extended their advantage when Dalton threw a short shuffle pass to Giovani Bernard, who danced his way through a number of tackles before going over for a 20-yard score.
Dan Carpenter added a field goal for the Bills before the end of the half, but they could not find a touchdown in the closing stages to send the sides in level.
