Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has insisted that he is "ready" for the playoffs to start having seen his side clinch a home tie in the wildcard round.
Dalton had an eventful game as the Bengals beat the Baltimore Ravens 34-17 yesterday, throwing for two touchdowns and running for one of his own while also throwing four interceptions.
However, the Bengals still found a way to maintain their perfect record at the Paul Brown Stadium this season, and Dalton believes that their home advantage could prove decisive in the playoffs.
"We're playing with a lot of confidence right now. The last couple of years we played on the road. For us to have a home game here, it'll be a great environment. We're ready for the playoffs to start," Dalton told The AP.
The Bengals will face the San Diego Chargers in their opening playoff game next weekend.
