Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis has admitted that doubts will remain over quarterback Andy Dalton until he wins his first playoff game.
The Bengals have reached the post-season in each of Dalton's first two years at the club, but have been defeated in the Wild Card round in back-to-back campaigns by the Houston Texans.
"He's been a three-year starter so he's accomplished a lot of things in his career thus far," Lewis told NFL Network.
"But until we win playoff games these questions you have those will always continue to be there. And that's all we can do is erase them for Andy and myself."
Lewis's side can secure a bye week with a win over the Baltimore Ravens and if the New England Patriots lose to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
