The Cleveland Browns have announced that Travis Benjamin sustained an anterior cruciate ligament tear during the team's 23-17 to the Kansas City Chiefs yesterday.
The wide receiver, who had been the AFC North side's primary punt returner so far this season, will miss the rest of the 2013 campaign with the injury.
The 23-year-old has 257 yards on and a touchdown from punt returns this season, as well as 105 receiving yards.
Davone Bess is expected to replace Benjamin on kick returns for the rest of the year.
