Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski has revealed that quarterback Jason Campbell has been cleared to start against the New England Patriots.
Campbell missed his side's defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars as he sustained a concussion in their loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 12.
However, after undergoing a series of tests and two days of practice, he has been give the go-ahead to play at Gillette Stadium.
Chudzinski told reporters: "Jason Campbell has been cleared to play the game. He's had a good two days of practice, been very sharp, and he'll be our starter for this weekend.
"We'll discuss as a staff this afternoon as far as the backup situation, and we'll let you know on Sunday as far as that goes.
"I've really been impressed with the team all week long. The type of guy Jason is and the leadership that he brings certainly gives us a boost, as well."
The Browns are 4-8 in their season going into week 14.
