The Cleveland Browns have been boosted following news that Josh Gordon's season ban is likely to be reduced to 10 games.
Gordon could now rejoin the team as early as November following changes soon to be made to the NFL's drugs policy, which now states that a 10-game ban is the maximum a player can serve for a fourth violation.
The player had already tried to appeal his previous season-long ban but was denied at a hearing back in August.
Gordon may not be totally out of the woods yet, however, given that the star wide receiver is due to face another hearing in November following his DWI arrest in July.
