The Cleveland Browns have announced that defensive back Tashaun Gipson has signed his franchise-tag tender to keep him at the club for the 2015 season.
The AFC North side and the 24-year-old failed to come to a long-term agreement before free agency, resulting in the Browns placing the franchise tag on Gipson.
Gipson refused to participate in his side's off-season activities because of the club's decision, but has now signed his tender to return to the team ahead of their minicamp.
The 24-year-old recorded 52 tackles, one forced fumble and six interceptions for the Browns last season.
