PSV vs. Girona (Tuesday, 5.45pm)

Both outside the Champions League playoff places with three games played, PSV Eindhoven and Girona will fight it out for maximum points when they meet on Tuesday.

Despite dominating Dutch football, PSV have yet to win in the league phase, while their Catalan counterparts got off the mark late last month.

We say: PSV Eindhoven 2-1 Girona

Though they have failed to replicate their stellar domestic form in Europe - even on home soil - PSV can surely score more than once against an injury-hit Girona side.

It should be an open contest between two enterprising teams, and the hosts may just edge it, moving above their Spanish rivals in the table.

Slovan Bratislava vs. Dinamo Zagreb (Tuesday, 5.45pm)

In their fourth Champions League league phase fixture of the season, Slovakian champions Slovan Bratislava are set to host Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb at Stadion Tehelne pole on Tuesday.

The hosts are last in 36th place with no points in the Champions League table and lost 2-0 against Girona in their most recent match in the competition on October 22, while their opponents are in 22nd place with four points after three matchweeks and beat Red Bull Salzburg 2-0 on October 23.

We say: Slovan Bratislava 1-2 Dinamo Zagreb

Though Dinamo Zagreb are third in their domestic league, they have proven to be resilient in the Champions League after bouncing back from defeat against Bayern.

Slovan Bratislava may score on Tuesday, but given the visitors' strong away record, it would not be surprising if the hosts lost once again.

Bologna vs. Monaco (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Still seeking their first goal and first win in the Champions League, Bologna will welcome unbeaten Monaco to Stadio Dall'Ara on Tuesday.

While the Serie A side have picked up just one point so far, their French counterparts sit inside the top eight, putting them on course for an automatic place in the knockout phase.

We say: Bologna 1-1 Monaco

Although Monaco have just experienced their first blip, they have still won six of 10 Ligue 1 matches this season - and two from three in the Champions League.

Bologna, meanwhile, have only beaten Serie A strugglers so far, posting too many draws as a result of failing to take their chances. Their wait for a win may go on.

Dortmund vs. Sturm Graz (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Nuri Sahin's Borussia Dortmund will hope to bounce back from their humiliating defeat against Real Madrid in their last Champions League match when they host Sturm Graz on Tuesday at Signal Iduna Park.

Dortmund were beaten 5-2 by Real in their third game in the competition on October 22 despite initially leading 2-0 and are 11th in the Champions League table with six points from three games, while Austrian champions Sturm Graz are fifth last in 32nd place with no points.

We say: Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Sturm Graz

Considering the injury crisis that Dortmund are currently facing, it would not be surprising if they conceded first.

However, Sturm Graz could find it difficult to hold onto a lead given the hosts' formidable record at home.

Celtic vs. RB Leipzig (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

After three wildly contrasting results so far, Celtic will seek the second win of their Champions League campaign on Tuesday, when RB Leipzig pay a visit to Glasgow.

The Bundesliga side are one of six clubs still searching for their first points, while Celtic have picked up four amid an eventful start to the league phase.

We say: Celtic 1-2 RB Leipzig

Two teams that like to get on the front foot should provide an entertaining spectacle, but Leipzig's defence is more watertight and could keep Celtic at arm's length.

Defeat would not be a disaster for the Scottish champions, but victory is surely essential for their visitors, who will therefore play to win.

Lille vs. Juventus (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Two teams with six points from three Champions League matches meet on Tuesday, as Lille host Juventus at Stade Pierre Mauroy.

The sides' first competitive meeting comes after the Ligue 1 side enjoyed stunning back-to-back wins over both Madrid clubs, while Juve faltered for the first time at the end of October.

We say: Lille 2-2 Juventus

Both teams are flying high domestically and have similar records in Europe, so it could be difficult to separate them on Tuesday evening.

As Juventus have started to leak goals, Lille should score at least once; however, Juve's front line has recently clicked into gear and can strike hard on the counter.

Liverpool vs. B. Leverkusen (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Xabi Alonso's long-awaited Liverpool homecoming is scheduled for Tuesday evening, when the Spaniard's Bayer Leverkusen side head to Anfield for a mouthwatering Champions League clash.

The Reds are a perfect three-for-three in the embryonic stages of the 2024-25 European competition, but their sixth-placed German counterparts can leapfrog them in the 36-team table with victory on Merseyside.

We say: Liverpool 1-1 Bayer Leverkusen

Liverpool may still be enjoying a golden streak of results under Slot, but not a single one of their victories from the start of October has been truly emphatic, and the inevitable fatigue may have been setting in against Brighton if the first 45 was anything to go by.

As a result, a Leverkusen side who have been the stalemate specialists in 2024-25 can end their hosts' perfect start to the Champions League season, even if Alonso's men are not the same irrepressible force they once were.

Sporting Lisbon vs. Man City (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

At risk of suffering three defeats on the bounce for the first time since the 2017-18 season, an ailing Manchester City head to Portugal for Tuesday's Champions League date with Sporting Lisbon.

The visitors are also reeling at the moment, albeit from an off-field decision as opposed to on-field struggles, as they prepare to reluctantly sever ties with Manchester United-bound boss Ruben Amorim.

We say: Sporting Lisbon 2-2 Manchester City

Many eyes will be on the battle between two scintillating Scandinavians in Gyokeres and Haaland on Tuesday, and the Lisbon affair should live up to the billing as Amorim aims to go out on a high.

A wounded City are often a force to be reckoned with, though, and as indomitable as Sporting have been in league action this season, Guardiola's side can fight fire with fire to come away with a hard-fought point.

Real Madrid vs. AC Milan (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Real Madrid will be aiming to bounce back from a heavy defeat in El Clasico when they continue their 2024-25 Champions League campaign with a contest against Italian giants AC Milan on Tuesday night.

Los Blancos have picked up six points from their three European matches this season to occupy 12th in the Champions League table, while Milan have collected three points from their opening three games to sit in 25th position.

We say: Real Madrid 2-1 AC Milan

Milan have more than enough quality to cause Real Madrid problems on Tuesday night, and we are expecting the Italian side to find the back of the net at Bernabeu, but Los Blancos should be able to bounce back from their Clasico defeat in order to make it three wins in the league phase of this season's Champions League.
