Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Danny White has insisted that Tony Romo is the right man to lead the team's offense and he would not swap the player for any others out there.
White said that Romo's athletic ability makes him the perfect fit because the Dallas offense requires their QB to be able to move and think quickly, and that even Peyton Manning would not be suitable for them.
"I don't know if there's ever been a more athletic quarterback," White told the Dallas Morning News. "People keep saying they need to get somebody else, I don't think there's another quarterback in the league that would be a better fit for the Cowboys and what they need, because he has to be able to move.
"He has to be able to improvise, with the offense he's got. He does that better than anybody. I'm a Peyton Manning fan, I'm a fan of all those guys, but they're not the guy that the Cowboys need."
The Cowboys did not qualify for the playoffs in 2013, ending the season with an 8–8 record.
