Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's injury and suspension news ahead of their FA Cup clash with Arsenal.

Manchester United will be aiming to book their spot in the fourth round of the FA Cup when they head to Premier League rivals Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils will enter the contest off the back of a 2-2 draw with Liverpool in the Premier League, which stretched their winless run in all competitions to five matches, but it was a much-improved performance.

Ruben Amorim's side will now switch their attention to the FA Cup, and the 20-time English champions are the holders of the trophy, having beaten bitter rivals Manchester City in last year's final.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's injury and suspension news ahead of their contest with Arsenal, who suffered a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United in the first leg of their EFL Cup semi-final on Tuesday night.

Marcus Rashford

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Illness/personal
Possible return date: January 12 (vs. Arsenal)

Rashford has not featured for Man United since December 12 due to an ongoing issue regarding his behaviour, and the forward is also a major doubt for this clash due to an illness which also ruled him out against Liverpool.

The forward's agent has been in Italy this week holding discussions with AC Milan and Juventus, with the Englishman, who is yet to train this week, widely expected to leave Man United before the end of the January transfer window.

Victor Lindelof

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: Unknown

Lindelof was forced off in the first half of the recent clash with Tottenham Hotspur due to an injury problem, and the Sweden international is facing yet another spell on the sidelines.

Luke Shaw

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Shaw has only just worked his way back from a calf issue, but the England international has now picked up a hamstring problem and is set to be sidelined for several weeks; the defender has opened up on his devastation at his ongoing injury issues, but Amorim has promised to continue backing him.

Mason Mount

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: Unknown

Mount was again absent against Liverpool due to the problem which forced him off the field against Manchester City in the Manchester derby last month, and the Englishman is now facing "several weeks" out of action, as confirmed by head coach Amorim after the defeat to Tottenham in the EFL Cup.

MANCHESTER UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

Man United have no players suspended for the FA Cup fixture in London.
