Dallas Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones has revealed that the club are considering handing a long-term contract extension to wide receiver Dez Bryant.
The 25-year-old is entering the final year of his rookie deal and has performed at a high level over the past few seasons, earning a place at the Pro Bowl in the 2013 campaign, which has strengthened his claim for a lucrative contract.
"As we do with any great player in our organisation who's nearing the end of a contract, we start to look at it and see how we might structure something going forward," Jones told KTCK-AM. "I think that's a possibility, yes."
Bryant recorded 93 receptions for 1,233 yards along with 13 touchdowns in the 2013 season.
