The Dallas Cowboys rally in the fourth quarter to defeat the New York Giants 31-28 in their NFC East clash as Tony Romo fires a late strike to Dez Bryant to win the game.

Tony Romo engineered a game-winning drive to guide the Dallas Cowboys to a 31-28 victory over the New York Giants in their NFC East clash.

The Giants started the game in a good offensive rhythm as Eli Manning had no problem moving his side downfield before finding Beckham in the endzone for a three-yard touchdown.

Dallas responded with a field goal after Tony Romo was almost intercepted by Antrel Rolle as he tried to find Jason Witten in the endzone. The incompletion forced Dan Bailey into a 38-yarder, which he made with ease.

Tom Coughlin's side retook the lead when Manning dropped back and heaved the ball down the right sideline for Beckham.

The 22-year-old was fouled by Brandon Carr, but somehow managed to reach back to make an incredible one-handed catch, remain inbounds and then fall into the endzone to register the 43-yard touchdown.

The Cowboys weren't deterred despite Beckham's brilliance as Romo guided his team downfield again and brought them within four points when he threw a shovel pass to Witten, who was able to walk in for the score.

New York got a break when Andre Williams appeared to fumble the ball on the goal line after a good drive downfield, but the officials could not overturn the call on the field due to a lack of evidence. On the next play, Williams found a hole in the line to power into the endzone.

In the second half, the Cowboys responded with a touchdown drive as Romo took advantage of a blitz to fire to Cole Beasley in the slot, and the receiver ran all the way to the endzone untouched to bring his side back into the match.

Manning looked to put his side back in control of the game as he moved them right into the redzone, but committed a costly turnover when he overthrew Preston Parker and was intercepted by Barry Church.

Dallas capitalised on Manning's error as they took the lead within three plays as Romo hit Dez Bryant over the middle of the field, and the 26-year-old sprinted down the sideline and dived into the endzone.

New York came back into the match and Manning put them in the lead when he faked the handoff on the goal line to Rashad Jennings before finding a wide open Adrien Robinson for the score, leaving three minutes on the clock with a four-point advantage.

However, the much-maligned Romo kept his cool to methodically drive his side downfield and was given excellent protection by his offensive line. He finally fired his side back in front when he delivered a strike to the back of the endzone for Bryant to snag.

There was still time for Manning to tie the game if he could get his side into field-goal range, but the Cowboys' defense held firm to secure their eighth win of the campaign.
