Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has revealed his disappointment with his side's defeat to the New England Patriots.
The Broncos held a 24-0 lead going into the break but the home side rallied to take the lead in the fourth quarter.
Manning brought his side back into the contest late on, only for them to lose the game in overtime following an error on a punt return by Tony Carter.
"I think that's the test of football teams," he told reporters. "I think it would be wrong if guys weren't disappointed and bothered by this loss.
"So I think you're allowed a night and maybe half the day tomorrow to still be ticked off about it and disappointed.
"We had some mistakes, and when you make those mistakes, it's hard to beat good teams on the road."
The Broncos are 9-2 in their season but still hold the number seed in the race for the AFC playoffs.
