Denver Broncos tight end Jacob Tamme has hailed Peyton Manning's career touchdown passing record as "incredible".
The 38-year-old surpassed Brett Favre's record with his 509th touchdown pass in his side's win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in just his 246th career game.
Tamme feels that the achievement is even more remarkable as the quarterback is just three years removed from serious neck surgery, which many feared could have ended his career.
"Definitely there were those moments in the rehab process, but he just worked so hard to get better," Tamme told USA Today.
"That's another part of what makes it so special. I mean, it really is incredible."
Manning has also won five NFL MVP awards during his 17-year career.
