Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson has returned to practice six weeks after breaking his left arm in a car accident.
Burleson underwent surgery on his arm after crashing his car while trying to stop a pizza box sliding off the passenger seat in September.
The 32-year-old missed matches against the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys with the injury, but he could be in line for a return against the Bears this Sunday.
Burleson did feature in the Lions' opening three matches to the season, catching 19 passes for 239 yards.
The Lions are currently one of three teams tied at the top of the NFC North with a 5-3 record, sharing the position with the Bears and the Packers.
