The Detroit Lions have reportedly been awarded wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin following his release by the San Francisco 49ers.
The 24-year-old was cut by Jim Harbaugh's side after just one season with the club as he failed to make an impact in their offense.
Detroit made the claim on the waiver wire to add the receiver to their roster for their training camp to see if he can show the talent that saw the Kansas City Chiefs draft him in the first round of the 2011 Draft, reports ProFootballTalk.com.
Baldwin has recorded 44 receptions for 607 yards and two touchdowns in his three-year career.
