Detroit Lions receiver Golden Tate has responded to Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church's plans to get revenge on him for a hit on teammate Sean Lee two years ago.
The hit came in 2012 when Tate was with the Seattle Seahawks as a blindside block resulted in no flag but with the receiver subsequently being fined.
"Man, I don't know this guy," said Tate, according to the Detroit News.
"I just now heard of him yesterday from this incident. He's trying to get on the scene, I guess, so we'll see."
Tate questioned why Lee was involving himself in an old situation while he also suggested "you can't hit what you can't catch" if the Cowboys star is looking for revenge.
