A late Robbie Gould field goal has handed the Chicago Bears a narrow 13-10 lead over the Green Bay Packers in their NFC North clash this evening.
It was the Bears who were first to strike at Soldier Field, but they were forced to settle for just the three points as Gould converted a 28-yard effort at the end of the opening drive of the match.
The reigning NFC North champions hit back before the quarter was out, however, with James Jones marking his return to the Packers with a 13-yard score from Aaron Rodgers's pass.
The hosts regained the lead in the second quarter when an 80-yard drive was finished off by Matt Forte, bursting his way into the endzone from a yard out.
Mason Crosby then levelled things up with a field goal from 37 yards, but Gould responded with a 50-yard kick of his own to nudge his side in front going into the break.
