Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb admits that his side's loss in the NFC championship game has served as motivation in his off-season training.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has revealed that he is using his side's heartbreaking loss in the NFC championship game as motivation for the 2015 season.

The Packers held a 12-point lead with two minutes to play in the match, but Brandon Bostick fumbled an onside kick to allow the Seattle Seahawks to take the lead before the game reached overtime.

Cobb and his offensive teammates never graced the field during overtime as Russell Wilson fired a deep strike to Jermaine Kearse to send the Seahawks to the Super Bowl.

The 26-year-old has admitted that he has been using his memories of the match to spur him in his training for the 2015 campaign.

"I thought about it in my training these past couple months whenever I reached that point of fatigue or feel like I can't go no more," Cobb told reporters.

"Just having those thoughts in the back of my head and knowing that next rep may be the next rep that's going to excel us past that moment. You use it as motivation. You have to. You find ways to fuel yourself in the off-season and that's one of mine."

Cobb signed a lucrative deal in the off-season to ensure his stay at the Packers for the next four seasons.
