Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy has insisted that his side are not focused on getting revenge against the Seattle Seahawks from their defeat in last season's NFC championship game.
The Packers lost the NFC title game to the Seahawks in devastating fashion as they allowed a 12-point lead to slip in the final two minutes to miss out on a place in the Super Bowl.
However, McCarthy is adamant that his side are only concentrating on beating the NFC West outfit to move to 2-0 in their season.
"We're playing at Lambeau Field [on] Sunday Night Football," McCarthy told reporters. "It's our first home game. I don't really think we need to get past that.
"I know who we're playing; they're an outstanding football team. They're coming of a tough loss in St Louis, but we're focused on winning the game.
"We're focused on getting our first home win, beating the Seattle Seahawks, and that's about as far as it goes with us."
The Packers defeated the Chicago Bears 31-23 in their season opener.
