Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy has admitted that he will make a decision about his starting quarterback for his side's NFC North decider this Sunday.
Aaron Rodgers missed his seventh game in a row in the Packers' defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers as Matt Flynn started yet again, but McCarthy feels that they need to decide their quarterback sooner this week.
"Aaron Rodgers? A lot of conversation going on. Hopefully, we can get the question answered sooner than later," McCarthy told the club's official website.
"Aaron wants to play. He fully accepts and understands everything that is going on with his injury. This is clearly a decision for [General Manager] Ted Thompson and I. I think it's important for us to make a quicker decision."
The Packers can reach the playoffs by beating the Chicago Bears in their clash on Sunday.
