Aaron Rodgers has said that he loves being "under the radar" during the NFL's pre-season.
The Green Bay Packers have been one of the favourites to win the Super Bowl in recent years, but bookmakers are tipping the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks for success in the 2013 season.
The Packers quarterback told ESPNMilwaukee.com: "I love it. I love being under the radar. For sure, we're a contender. For sure. I mean, we're going to put ourselves in position to win a lot of games.
"Our goal is to win our division and get to the playoffs. And anything can happen. And then hopefully we can take care of business like we did in 2010 when we get back there. The NFL didn't do us any favors with the schedule, but we don't need them to."
Rodgers, who recently signed a contract making him the highest-paid player in the league, led the Packers to Super Bowl victory in the 2010 season.
