The Green Bay Packers lose for the first time in six games with a 21-13 defeat to the Buffalo Bills.

The Buffalo Bills have stunned the Green Bay Packers, ending the NFC North side's five-game winning streak with a 21-13 victory at the Ralph Wilson stadium this evening.

Both offenses made slow starts, but the Packers finally managed to open the scoring late in the first quarter when Mason Crosby kicked a field goal.

The Bills were soon ahead, though, as Marcus Thigpen went unchallenged on a punt return, dodging several attempted tackles to find the endzone.

Eddie Lacy briefly restored their lead before half time with a one-yard run for a touchdown after Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb got the Packers back into Buffalo territory.

However, Dan Carpenter kicked a field goal just before the break, leaving the teams level at half time.

Carpenter was involved again early in the second half, kicking a further two field goals to open up a six-point advantage for the home side after Kyle Orton had failed to connect with Sammy Watkins.

Aaron Rodgers tried to find his receivers to restore the Packers' lead, but was twice intercepted by Bacarri Rambo to prevent Green Bay from adding to their half-time total.

After Nelson dropped a pass from Rodgers, Crosby came back on for another field goal, but Carpenter was on target again soon after.

Rodgers led the Packers forward late on while trying to steal a win inside the final two minutes, but the quarterback fumbled the ball into the endzone, with Lacy's recovery resulting in a safety to hand Buffalo the win.

The result gives the Packers just their fourth defeat of the season, although they stay at the top of their division, while the Bills move to 8-6, but can no longer win the AFC East after the New England Patriots clinched the division this evening.
