Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson is reportedly close to ending his stalemate with the franchise after he attended their training facility to learn the team's new offense.
It is still unclear as to whether or not the 33-year-old will report to training camp on Friday, but the Texans are regarding his appearance as a step in the right direction.
Having skipped organised team activities and a voluntary mini-camp, Johnson also missed the franchise's mandatory mini-camp in June.
There had been doubts over whether the veteran seven-time Pro Bowl receiver was committed to the team ahead of another rebuilding season.
