Houston Texans guard Ben Jones has admitted that he is ready to fight for his place upon his return to training on Thursday.
Jones said that he is ready to play wherever required having made the switch from right guard to left guard if needed.
"You are out here trying to earn a spot and all the guys know that no matter what, on game day, I am going to be out here ready to play for them," Jones told the club's official website.
"I'm a swing guy for a while so I have known left, centre and right guard so it's just my time to step up."
Jones started 10 of 16 games last season for the Texans.
