Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay has revealed that three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Andrew Luck is expected to return to action against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
A shoulder injury picked up against the Tennessee Titans in the third week of the season has kept Luck out of the last two games, with Matt Hasselbeck stepping in to help the Colts to victories over the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Houston Texans.
However, Hasselbeck is likely to drop to second-string once again as Colts head coach Chuck Pagano prepares to welcome back Luck.
"I really think that, unless something happens, I see him being a go Sunday," Irsay told ESPN. "I'm not saying 100% for sure, but I think there's a strong likelihood he's a go. I was with him, and he's feeling a lot better."
The Colts are 3-2 for the season, while the Patriots have won all four of their games,
