The Indianapolis Colts have announced the release of veteran centre Samson Satele following two seasons at the club, it has been confirmed on their official website.
Satele, 29, who initially came into the NFL with the Miami Dolphins in 2007, has also played for the Oakland Raiders and has started more than 10 games in every season in the league.
"Satele was originally signed by the Colts as an unrestricted free agent on March 21, 2012," the club said in a statement.
"In two seasons with the team, he started 24 regular season games and three postseason contests. In 2013, Satele started all 13 games he appeared in while making two starts in the playoffs."
Satele has played all 16 regular season games three times in his career.
