Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has revealed that he was always confident that his side could hit big plays in their commanding victory over the Washington Redskins.
Luck threw four touchdown passes over 30 yards, completing two strikes each to tight end Coby Fleener and wideout Donte Moncrief, to fire his side to a 49-27 win to keep them in the hunt for a first-round bye in the playoffs.
"Yeah, we were confident we could hit some chunks, as we say," Luck told reporters. "I think the line did a great job of settling in and finding that rhythm.
"I think our tempo helped in getting some drives together. We came in thinking we'd have a chance at some big ones."
The Colts are 8-4 in their season and currently hold the fourth seed in the AFC.
