Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano believes that his side have plenty to build on following their narrow pre-season defeat to the New York Jets.
The Colts went down to a last-minute field goal from Andrew Furney at MetLife Stadium, but despite the loss Pagano feels that there were a lot of positives to come from the game.
Pagano told the club's official website: "I thought the effort was outstanding. I thought the tackling was good. The defense, other than one drive where we shot ourselves in the foot, played outstanding.
"We've got some things to build on. It's a good start. [We'll] go back and look at the tape and see exactly where we're at and go back to work."
Pagano's side face the New York Giants in their second pre-season game next week.
