Indianapolis Colts have announced that they have released safety LaRon Landry, with two years remaining on his contract.
Landry joined the Colts in 2013 from New York Jets on a four-year deal, but he was handed a four-game ban for breaching the league's drug policy last year.
The team also announced that offensive tackle Xavier Nixon and linebacker Andrew Jackson have been waivered, as they look to cut back on their wage bill.
The Colts lost to New England Patriots in the AFC championship game last month.
