Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks has said that he is confident that he will be ready for the start of the 2015 season.

The 28-year-old tore his ACL in the final game of the 2014 campaign after an impressive season for the Jaguars, which resonated with his colleagues as he was voted in 75th place in NFL Network's Top 100 players list.

Marks has revealed that he has made progress in his recovery during the off-season, and is now optimistic that he will be ready for week one of the campaign.

"I actually posted a video last week of going through the bags, just showing the progress," Marks told the club's official website.

"Five months, this month will be six months out, and I think we're coming along with it. I'm not saying what's exactly going to happen within the next two months, but I think I'm going to be pretty ready for it."

Marks recorded 44 tackles and 8.5 sacks in the 2014 season.
