Gus Bradley has insisted that he trusts Justin Blackmon despite the wide receiver being handed a four-game suspension for failing a drugs test.
The NFL announced that the Jacksonville Jaguars wideout will miss the start of 2013 season for violating the league's policy on substance abuse.
The team's head coach told the Florida Times-Union: "I told Justin I do trust him. He understands we're disappointed in what took place.
"I really try to maintain my focus on making sure he has a clear vision of what we expect from him. We've had great conversations since this came out."
Blackmon scored five touchdowns during his rookie season with the Jaguars.
