John Dorsey has said that he expects AJ Jenkins to add value to the Kansas City Chiefs after joining the AFC West side earlier today.
The Chiefs agreed a trade with the San Francisco 49ers to acquire the wide receiver, with fellow wideout Jon Baldwin joining the NFC West side in exchange for the 2012 first-round draft pick.
The general manager told the Chiefs' official website: "We felt like this trade was beneficial for all parties involved.
"AJ is a talented individual with a skill-set that we feel can add value to our football team.
"Jon Baldwin is a hardworking player and a professional. We wish him nothing but the best moving forward."
Jenkins played three games for the 49ers during his rookie season, but failed to make a reception.
