Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kyle Williams has announced that he has torn his ACL and will be out for the rest of the season.
The Chiefs signed the 25-year-old last week following his release by the San Francisco 49ers and he played four snaps in their defeat to the Denver Broncos.
Williams is just one year removed from previously tearing his ACL as a member of the 49ers, which caused him to miss the final weeks of the 2012 campaign.
He wrote on Twitter: "Saddened to say the I will be missing the remainder of the season due to another tear of my ACL."
The Chiefs are 9-1 in their season going into week 12.
