The Kansas City Chiefs move to 6-0 in their season with a comeback victory over the Oakland Raiders in their NFL clash at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Kansas City Chiefs have moved to 6-0 in their NFL campaign with a 24-7 win over the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.

The game started with a sack of Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith as linebacker Sio Moore brought him down for a seven-yard loss and that set the tone for the majority of the first half as both offenses struggled to get into rhythm against physical defensive play.

Early in the second quarter, Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor ran with the ball to put his side within field goal range of former first-round pick Sebastian Janikowski, but he could only put his kick from 51 yards inches wide of the post.

However, on their next drive the Raiders found the end zone as Pyror again led them downfield with a solid series of throws and he picked out wide receiver Denarius Moore on a slant route and he ran all the way into the endzone from 39 yards out to give his side the lead.

The Chiefs looked to maintain their unbeaten record and they rallied just before half time as Jamaal Charles ran the ball in from seven yards out to draw his side level as he powered through several tackles before crossing the line.

After half time, defenses continued to be on top until the Chiefs managed to find a breakthrough late in the third quarter when Smith methodically drove his team downfield before handing the ball off to Charles inside the five and he powered into the end zone for the score.

A 33-yard field goal from Ryan Succop gave Andy Reid's side a 10-point lead in the game with two minutes left. The Chiefs secured victory when Pryor was intercepted by Husain Abdullah and he ran the ball back for 44-yard touchdown.
