Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Branden Albert admits that he is targeting a return to his form of the 2014 season when he recovers from a torn ACL.

Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Branden Albert has said that he is determined to get back to his best form as he recovers from a torn ACL sustained in the last campaign.

The 30-year-old performed well for the AFC East outfit in the opening 10 weeks of the season before he suffered his injury, which ruled him out for the rest of the year.

However, Albert has been hard at work with his rehabilitation, which has included boxing, to ensure he gets back to form for the 2015 campaign.

"When you get there and you're at the top of your game, and something like this happened, it's like, 'Damn, I was at the top of my game, doing good. The team was doing good,'" Albert told the Miami Herald.

"My thing is proving my worth. I never wanted to come down here and have somebody say, 'Well, he shut it down when he got paid.' That's not what I'm about. I want to keep winning, keep making Pro Bowls, All-Pros, and keep improving."

Albert joined the Dolphins in the 2014 season from the Kansas City Chiefs.
