Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin believes that their offense was not very good in general during their win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin has insisted that his team will be working hard to keep winning matches, despite their best start to a season since 2002.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill was praised for leading the game-winning drive in the Dolphins' dramatic 27-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, meaning that the franchise has begun an NFL campaign 3-0 for the first time in 11 years.

Philbin told Dolphins.com: "It's getting repetitive, but the starting point in any passing game is protection. Overall offensively we were not very good. You want me to give a grade scale? A, B, C, D...it just wasn't very good.

"The last drive was a B-plus, though. It was a huge drive. There was no other alternative. We had to use our two time outs. I thought our protection was better on that drive.

"We caught the ball well and we were able to get the ball in the end zone. It was a very professional win and hopefully we can continue to get better, to improve."

The Dolphins travel to the New Orleans Saints in week four's Monday Night Football match.
