A last-ditch touchdown by rookie Dion Sims has helped the Miami Dolphins make it three wins in a row in the NFL this season with a dramatic 27-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
Victory for Miami looked unlikely in the early stages, with Atlanta quickly building a 10-0 advantage courtesy of Matt Ryan's pick to Jason Snelling.
Daniel Thomas soon responded for the Dolphins, finishing a 60-yard drive by rushing into the endzone from close range.
Matt Bryant and Caleb Sturgis exchanged field goals late in the first half to keep the Falcons ahead, and they moved clear once more early in the third as Ryan found Levine Toilolo for a quick score.
Miami were able to respond again quickly, though, with Ryan Tannehill finding his range to pick out Brian Hartline with an 18-yard touchdown pass.
With the scores locked at 20-20, Bryant's boot nudged the Falcons ahead once more, but Miami were not to be denied as a brilliant late drive paid dividends.
Tannehill decided to attempt a play-action fake, with the quarterback turning to find Sims from a single yard to keep their 100% start intact.
