Joe Philbin has said that the Miami Dolphins are yet to decide whether Daniel Thomas or Lamar Miller will win the starting running back role with the team.
The duo have been sharing snaps in practice as they compete to replace Reggie Bush, following his move to the Detroit Lions during the off-season.
The head coach told the team's website: "I think they both performed well. When they've had their opportunities, they've both performed well. I think they both had a productive camp, and there is still more to be played before we make a final decision.
"We want to reward the guys we feel earned positions on the football team, so obviously it will be important who the starter."
Thomas has recorded 49 rushing yards from 12 carries this pre-season, while Miller has 15.5 yards and a touchdown from eight carries.
