The Miami Dolphins scored three touchdowns to wrap up a 27-14 win over the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in the NFL this evening.
The Bears were unable to get off the mark on the opening drive of the game, and the Dolphins capitalised when they took to the field, with Ryan Tannehill firing the ball out wide for tight end Charles Clay.
Jay Cutler looked to get the home side back on level terms, but an overthrown pass intended for Martellus Bennett was intercepted.
Brian Hartline picked up a big gain for Miami before Tannehill found Mike Wallace at the back of the endzone to double their advantage before half time.
The Bears made a bright start to the third quarter, with Matt Forte making some patient gains through the running game before forcing his way into the endzone.
Chicago could not stop Lamar Millar restoring the visitors' two-touchdown cushion before the end of the third quarter as he weaved through the defensive players to find the endzone.
Forte picked up another score in the fourth to keep the Bears in contention, but two field goals from Caleb Sturgis in the final 15 minutes put the win beyond doubt for the Dolphins.
The result leaves the Dolphins 3-3 this season, while the Bears remain without a win on home soil in 2014.
