Adrian Peterson has said that Jerick McKinnon has been "pretty impressive" since joining the Minnesota Vikings this off-season.
The NFC North side selected the running back in the third round of this year's Draft as a backup for the 2012 MVP.
Peterson told the Star Tribune: "He's pretty impressive and there's not too many guys who impress me like that, especially rookies coming in. He's been able to do some real good things in the offense, picking it up well and just his running style."
McKinnon finished his college career with 3,899 rushing yards and 42 touchdowns.
