The Minnesota Vikings will move to a college stadium for two years after the 2013 NFL season while their new home is built.

The Minnesota Vikings have confirmed that they will move to the TCF Bank Stadium at the end of the 2013 season.

The NFC North side will play one more season at the 31-year-old Metrodome, before heading to the University of Minnesota's facility for two seasons while their new home is built.

The Metrodome is due to be demolished in February next year, with the new stadium set to open in July 2016.

The new stadium will cost an estimated $975 million (£628 million).
