The Minnesota Vikings rally from a seven-point deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat the Chicago Bears 23-20 in their NFC North clash at Soldier Field.

The Minnesota Vikings produced a fourth-quarter comeback to defeat the Chicago Bears 23-20 in their NFC North clash at Soldier Field.

The Bears went ahead on their first possession of the game as Robbie Gould attempted a season-long field goal from 55 yards and nailed his kick between the posts.

Minnesota rallied to take the lead when Pat O'Donnell's punt was collected by Marcus Sherels, who ran over the left side of the field into open space and got behind a block to run into the endzone for a 65-yard score.

The Vikings added to their lead when Adrian Peterson moved his team into the redzone, but the Bears made a stand, resulting in a 43-yard field goal from Blair Walsh.

Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was intercepted by Kyle Fuller with under a minute left in the half, and he was punished when Jay Cutler found Alshon Jeffery for a 21-yard touchdown to level the scores.

Chicago took the lead early in the third quarter when Gould notched his second field goal of the game from 33 yards after a promising drive was ended by a defensive stand by Mike Zimmer's men.

Walsh got the Vikings back on level terms at the start of the fourth, but Cutler responded with a strong drive, which ended in the quarterback running over the right side of the line into the endzone from six yards.

Bridgewater rose to the challenge of rallying his team by firing a strike to Stefon Diggs, who made a turn on his man before racing into the endzone for a 40-yard touchdown.

The home side failed to take sufficient time off the clock as their game-winning drive failed, and the Vikings took advantage when Bridgewater threw deep to Charles Johnson to move his team into field-goal range.

Walsh made no mistake firing his kick between the posts to lift Minnesota to their fifth win of the season, while the Bears drop to 2-5 in their campaign.
