New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has praised his side's performance in the third quarter of their 27-17 win over the Miami Dolphins yesterday.
The Patriots were booed off the field at half time having taken a knee and let time expire while trailing 17-3, having made just 59 yards in the first half.
However, 17 unanswered points in the third quarter, as well as another touchdown midway through the fourth, sealed the win for Belichick's side.
"We really haven't played good in the third quarter, but we did today. Things weren't going our way in the first half. That was obvious, being booed at half time," Belichick told the Associated Press.
The Patriots remain top of the NFC East with a 6-2 record and will face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
