Wide receiver Julian Edelman has praised the mentality of the New England Patriots following their comeback against the Denver Broncos.
The Patriots trailed 24-0 at the interval during Sunday's contest before coming back to win the game in overtime.
Edelman told Patriots.com: "We decided we needed to start over and not rush and try and win it in just one play. So we took it play by play.
"I've been in some crazy turnarounds. It was good to show mental toughness as a team. We've executed a few of these last ditch drives pretty well this season and we did that again here."
Victory helped the Patriots improve their playoff credentials, cementing their lead at the top of the AFC East.
